7. Ginny and Zoe
Ginny, 16, and daughter Zoey, 11, are on the lookout for a calm and peaceful retirement home. They are absolutely inseparable so would need adopters who can take them both. Ginny and Zoey are currently living off site in a foster home where their carer says they make wonderful company. They enjoy walks and are very much young at heart. They settle nicely together and can be left for short periods on their own. Photo: Dogs Trust
Five-year-old Druid is a German Shepherd who has led a very sheltered life, so would need patient adopters who would help him grow in confidence as he has never lived in a house before. He is full of potential and deserves a loving home as his life experience so far has been very limited. During his time at the centre, he has come on leaps and bounds. He has learned what toys are and how much fun he can have. He has also mastered walking on the lead and enjoys seeing more of the outside world. Druid will need a few meets at the centre to build a relationship but once he is confident, his true colours will shine through. Photo: Dogs Trust
Domino has stolen the hearts of all his handlers at the centre. The nine-year-old Lurcher loves doing his training and going for walks in quieter areas where he will not see other dogs. He travels well so does not mind being driven to more peaceful spots. Photo: Dogs Trust
Five-year-old Cleo has bundles of energy, but can be a little shy at first. She loves toys and thoroughly enjoys playing with a tennis ball. Cleo will need to live in a quiet area and will need to sleep in the bedroom. Once settled, she would be able to be left for a few hours. Photo: Dogs Trust
