Luxury dessert parlour opens in Headingley - but confirms that Gordon Ramsay is NOT the chef

A new dessert parlour has opened in Headingley - but staff have confirmed that Gordon Ramsay did not make an appearance at the restaurant last week.

Heavenly Desserts opened to the public on Sunday in Headingley Central, formerly the Arndale Centre, on Otley Road.

The luxury parlour was in the spotlight during its launch event on Friday, when a Leeds resident took a photo of a chef who he believed to resemble Gordon Ramsay.

The parlour has confirmed that the 'chef' was a look-a-like booked in for the launch and is not Gordon Ramsay, or a member of staff there.

Heavenly Desserts has twenty other restaurants across the country and offers luxury desserts and sweet treats.

On the menu is cookie dough, signature waffles, pancakes, waffles, fondants, cakes and artisan slices.

The parlour also has a large gluten-free and vegan menu and offers artisan tea, coffee and a range of soft drinks.
