Away from football, a leaky roof meant pupils sitting their exams at a Leeds school were surrounded by buckets to catch the water while demonstrations dominated the news headlines thanks to bikers on the move and protestors outside the Civic Hall. A much loved Leeds pop band recorded a video for a re-release of their classic hit while the city celebrated the multi-million pound opening of a new health care facility.
