This is Stocks Road in Seacroft at the end of the 1970s.

This adventure playground in Seacroft which had given pleasure to thousands of children over more than 20 years was deserted, over grown and rat infested.

The first Methodist building was put up on the hill close to Seacroft Village green in 1751.

The John Smeaton pub on Swarcliffe Drive. The licensee was John Gaughan in the early 1980s.

This land around Ramshead Wood was being used as a dumping ground for all manner of rubbish prompting calls for a clean up from Ramshead Drive residents.
