More than 300 parents watched Sir Donald Kaberry MP for North West Leeds, lay the foundation stone of the new St Michael's Church of England Middle School and hear it blessed by the Bishop of Knaresborough the Rt Rev Ralph Emmerson, former vicar of Headingley in October 1972.
