2002 will be remembered for a series of events around the town marking the 50th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne. Elsewhere the town's two rival cricket clubs were aiming to hit the opposition for six while school life played a part in positive LS28 news. Enjoy these photo memories charting 12 months in the life of the town. Do you recognise anyone? READ MORE: 20 photo memories of Pudsey in 2000 LOVE LEEDS? LOVE NOSTALGIA? Join Leeds Retro on facebook
