Below is everything you need to know about rescheduling your second dose and booster jab.

How many weeks should I wait between vaccines?

Previously appointments were as far as three months apart.

However it has now been suggested that appointments can be moved to two months apart between the first and second dose.

Booster jabs can be administered three months after the second jab.

Is it dangerous to get my second dose earlier?

No, it is not dangerous to get the second dose of the vaccine a month earlier.

It was initially suggested that people receive the both doses at around 12 weeks apart.

However in August the advice changed and people can now receive their second vaccine after just eight weeks.

Experts have said that there are no benefits to receiving the second vaccine any sooner than eight weeks.

How do I get a vaccine appointment?

You can get an appointment by booking in through the NHS website or by attending a walk-in clinic.

It has been advised that people book ahead in order to avoid the large queues now forming outside vaccine centres and pharmacies.
