The most helpful GP reception teams in Leeds have been named by new figures.
For many patients who find themselves unwell, the GP surgery is the first place they go. Often described as the “front door” of the NHS, it offers diagnosis, treatment and onward referrals to specialists.
The experience you have with your GP reception team can make a big difference, and patients in Leeds have had their say in the latest GP Patient Survey, produced by Ipsos on behalf of NHS England. More than 650,000 patients in England completed the 2026 survey, which was carried out between January and April this year.
The survey uncovered patients’ experiences with the reception and administrative team at their GP practice. Across the country, the majority of patients described their GP reception team as ‘very helpful’ (44%) or ‘fairly helpful’ (41%).
Here we reveal the surgeries in Leeds where reception teams have been voted the best by you. Surgeries are ranked by the proportion of patients who said the reception and administrative team at their GP practice is ‘very helpful’.
