People in Leeds have held a final round of applause to thank key workers and celebrate the 72nd birthday of the NHS.

At 5pm, people across the city clapped as a way of saying thank you to NHS staff who have worked throughout the coronavirus pandemic. It also marks 72 years since the NHS was founded on July 5,1948. The NHS was founded by Aneurin Bevan on 5 July 1948.
