Official Government figures show that since mid-January the rate of positive Covid cases per 100,000 people in Leeds has been falling. On Tuesday, the Leeds case rate broke the 100 barrier and was down to 98.3 cases per 100,000 people. The city has now been in lockdown for over two months, but figures show 22 out of 107 neighbourhoods have seen a rise in new infections. Garforth East has seen rates of positive Covid cases rise from 0 to 58.2 cases per 100,000 people.
2. Horsforth South and Rawdon
Horsforth South and Rawdon has seen rates of positive Covid cases rise from 0 to 48.1 cases per 100,000 people.
3. Lady Wood and Oakwood
Lady Wood and Oakwood has seen rates of positive Covid cases rise by 350 per cent, from 49.6 to 223.1 cases per 100,000 people.
4. Hyde Park Corner and Woodhouse Cliff
Hyde Park Corner and Woodhouse Cliff has seen rates of positive Covid cases rise by 220 per cent, from 36.0 to 115.2 cases per 100,000 people.
5. Morley Central
Morley Central has seen rates of positive Covid cases rise by 175 per cent, from 124.3 to 341.9 cases per 100,000 people.
6. Hollin Park and Fearnville
Hollin Park and Fearnville has seen rates of positive Covid cases rise by 167 per cent, from 40.8 to 108.9 cases per 100,000 people.
