Measures have been taken by schools across Leeds to limit the spread of coronavirus, including staggered start times, social distancing and creating year group bubbles. This allows schools to easily identify those who may need to self-isolate if someone within the bubble tests positive for the virus. These are the 22 Leeds schools where positive cases have been confirmed and bubbles disbanded as of Wednesday September 23.

8. Hillcrest Academy
One pupil has tested positive for coronavirus at Hillcrest Primary Academy in Chapeltown, it was confirmed by The Gorse Academies Trust on Friday September 18
9. Hunslet St. Mary's CE Primary School
A Year 4 bubble was collapsed on September 15 after a person tested positive for coronavirus. It has not been confirmed whether this person is a child or staff member. All students in the year bubble must isolate until September 25
10. Leeds City College
A total of five members of staff and one student are confirmed to have tested positive for Covid-19 at Leeds City College. Impacted staff and students have been asked to stay at home and areas have been deep cleaned
11. Lawnswood School
Two cases of Covid-19 at Lawnswood School in north Leeds were confirmed by Leeds City Council on Thursday, September 17.
12. Quarry Mount Primary
Quarry Mount Primary in Pennington Street, Woodhouse, had to close on Wednesday, September 16 after three people tested positive for Covid-19. Reception and Year 1 pupils were sent home to isolate.
