So much so, this article was originally going to list at all of them to have got a “good” or “outstanding” rating since the beginning of the year, but there wasn’t space in the article!
With this in mind, here are 15 primary schools in Leeds to have been handed the most recent top Ofsted marks.
13. Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School
Another school to achieve a "good" rating. The report stated: "Pupils know what is expected of them and happily follow the rules put in place, such as lining up quietly at the end of the school day. There is a calm and orderly atmosphere across the school. Pupils listen carefully to their teachers in lessons and are keen to do well. Older pupils can explain how the whole school community works together to support each other. Pupils know that they are kept safe at school. They are confident that if they had a concern, adults would act quickly to help them." Photo: James Hardisty
14. John Jamieson School
The Ofsted report, out in May, stated: "Pupils enjoy attending John Jamieson School. Staff are very caring and supportive. Parents and carers appreciate the help staff give to them and their children. Staff understand and support pupils’ individual needs well. Pupils are safe and happy. One parent summed up the views of many when stating, ‘Getting the provision just right for my daughter feels like a real partnership between us and school'." Photo: google maps
