So much so, this article was originally going to list at all of them to have got a “good” or “outstanding” rating since the beginning of the year, but there wasn’t space in the article!
With this in mind, here are 15 primary schools in Leeds to have been handed the most recent top Ofsted marks.
7. Talbot Primary School
"Pupils study a broad curriculum that includes all of the national curriculum subjects," a report, which ranked the school as "good", said. "Adults have very high expectations of pupils. Leaders have made sure that pupils have the right opportunities to develop their vocabulary and language. This helps them to learn well in all of their subjects. Pupils are proud to talk about what they know and remember. Their attitude to learning is excellent. They are keen to celebrate their achievements." Photo: google maps
8. Kerr Mackie Primary School
The report, published after an inspection in May, stated: "Adults and pupils share the strong school values of the ‘5Cs’ (community, challenge, confidence, curiosity and care). Pupils understand the ‘5Cs’ and put these values into practice."

9. Adel Primary School
The school was rated "good", following an inspection in January. The report stated: "Pupils say this is a happy school where everyone has a smile on their face. This is not at all surprising. The school ethos is reflected in the bright and welcoming environment. Pupils have high levels of respect and kindness for others. "Leaders, governors and staff are ambitious for every pupil. They have high expectations of pupils’ behaviour and learning. Pupils respond very well. Their general behaviour and attitudes to learning are excellent." Photo: google
10. Middleton St Mary's
The report said: "Leaders ensure that pupils receive a broad curriculum. All subjects, including geography, history and science, are well organised, so pupils are well prepared to meet ambitious end-points. Leaders have made reading a real priority in their school. There is a tangible love for good-quality children’s literature. Pupils meet with local authors and illustrators. This helps pupils to further develop their love of
reading." Photo: google maps
11. Grange Farm Primary School
Following an inspection back in March, Ofsted said: "Leaders have introduced an ambitious new curriculum. There are detailed plans in place for every national curriculum subject. This has had a very positive effect on pupils’ learning. They remember the important knowledge that helps them to learn more." Photo: google
12. Hillcrest Acadamy
A rare "Outstanding" rating was achieved by Hillcrest earlier this year. The report stated: "Hillcrest Academy is an inspirational, inclusive primary school. Everyone is made to feel welcome. Staff, pupils and their families are proud to be part of the diverse school community. Leaders have high aspirations for all pupils academically, socially and for their futures. Pupils make excellent progress as a result of the well-planned curriculum and high-quality teaching."
