RS Local Leeds unveils new-look customer showroom
RS UK and Ireland, part of RS Group plc, has launched its new-look RS Local customer showroom in Leeds.
The branch has undergone a refurbishment to facilitate customer self-serve with enhanced product search, ordering and collection points – as well as showcase innovative value-added solutions and provide a new meeting space.
The new value-added solutions area enables the Holbeck-based branch to exhibit its RS ScanStock and RS VendStock solutions, which are vendor-managed inventory (VMI) services bringing full stock management and replenishment, and vending solutions, to customer site.
RS Local Leeds branch manager, John Davidson, said: “We’re thrilled to throw open the doors and welcome customers back into the showroom, with our new improved search bar facility which will allow them greater ability to self-serve and search our full product range.
“With the meeting area now in the showroom, I’m looking forward to collaborating with our customers and sales teams. For the team, this refurbishment also provides new offices, giving us a workspace to be proud of.”
The opening was marked with attendance from suppliers Milwaukee, Flir and RS PRO, and a representative from RS Group’s chosen charity, Solar Aid, was also present to talk about the great work the organisation does to combat poverty and climate change.
