West Yorkshire haulage workers end 10 day strike after improved pay offer
The company supplies household names including Coca-Cola and Stella Artois
Strike action at a West Yorkshire haulage company has ended after workers accepted an improved pay deal.
Around 40 Unite members at Lockwood Haulage Ltd in Knottingley and South Kirkby walked out earlier this month after rejecting a 1% pay increase.

The 10 days of continuous strike action have now ended after workers accepted an improved pay rise of 2.5%, backdated to March 1, 2025.
The deal will apply across all grades and allowances.
A previous plan to replace annual pay increases with attendance-based bonuses has also been scrapped.
The Unite members taking part in the strikes included forklift drivers and machine operators in the company's glass division, which supplies major household names including Coca-Cola, Stella Artois and Johnnie Walker whisky.
Regional Unite officer Jessica Sangha said the result showed that unionising works.
“We are pleased that the dispute has ended with a better pay rise for our hardworking members at Lockwood,” she said.
“The result proves unionising works. Any worker who wants improved pay and conditions should join Unite and encourage their colleagues to do the same.”
