A cat lover from Leeds is leaving behind 16 years in education to launch a premium feline care business in Leeds, Morley, Pudsey, Heckmondwike.

Bridgitte Causer, 55, who previously worked in school business management and safeguarding, has this week (Monday 9th March) 9 launched The Cat Butler Southwest Leeds, a premium cat sitting service that provides daily visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship keeping kitties of all ages and breeds happy and contented in their own homes while their human paw-rents are away.

She continued: "Turning my passion for cats into my profession feels just right. I can't wait to spend every day with them!"

Bridgitte added: "I have one cat at home, Roxy, who was rescued seven years ago from a local charity, Huddersfield Ferals and Strays. She’s the princess of our house. Although still quite timid, she loves to sleep on my bed each night, curled up on a blanket."

Looking ahead, Bridgitte added: "I want to be the local cat sitting service that owners trust—the go-to cat sitter in the area. By offering stress-free, personalised care, cats can stay in familiar surroundings and owners can relax knowing their pets are safe. I can’t wait to meet lots of wonderful cats. Every cat deserves a Cat Butler!"
