Two new stunning Italian locations to be added to Jet2 list of destinations from Leeds Bradford Airport

Regular flights from Leeds Bradford to Sicily and Sardinia will operate throughout next summer from May to October.

Jet2 will operate weekly Wednesday services to Sicily from May 4 through to October 26 in 2022.

Flights will operate to Catania Airport, opening up a range of popular resorts on the east coast of the island, which are just a short transfer away.

Flights and holidays to Sardinia will also go on sale, with weekly Wednesday services operating into Olbia Airport from May 25 to october 26.

This will open up the east coast of Sardinia and various resorts which host some of the best beaches in Europe.

The addition of the two stunning islands comes in response to strong and continued demand from local holidaymakers.

Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean and is a well-established destination with UK holidaymakers, offering both beach holidays and city breaks.

Jet2 package holidays to Sicily will include a choice of beach resorts including Taormina, Taormina Mare, Giardini Naxos, Syracuse, Cefalu and Campofelice Di Roccella.

Packages are also on sale through Jet2CityBreaks to the historic city of Catania.

Jet2 says Sardinia offers customers the most authentic of Italian experiences and is on many people’s bucket list of must-see European beach destinations.

With snow-white sand sloping into glimmering turquoise waters, customers can head to the Costa Smeralda for a glamorous seaside experience or head south of Olbia for a holiday with an authentic slant.

Resorts on sale in Sardinia include Porto Cervo, Baia Sardinia, Budoni, San Teodoro, Cannigione, San Pantaleo, Orosei and Pittulongu, as well as city breaks to Olbia.
