New drive in cinema launched this summer at Harewood House in Leeds

It is part of The Luna Cinema chain, which operates open air and pop-up cinemas across the country.

The drive-in cinema on the Harewood estate will be screening films throughout August.

There will be a range of films for both adults and families, with afternoon, evening and late night showings.

The first screenings to be held in the Harewood grounds will be on Tuesday, August 4.

The films will be Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and the Joker, starring Joaquin Phoenix.

There will then be screening every day until August 17.

Films include Dirty Dancing, The Lion King, Pulp Fiction, Frozen 2, A Star is Born, Knives Out and many more.

There will also be special sing-a-long screenings of Rocketman, Grease, The Greatest Showman and Bohemian Rhapsody.

A spokesman for the The Luna Cinema said: "With five venues already announced, we’re over the moon to reveal our latest drive in locations are Harewood House in Leeds and Tatton Park, Manchester.

"They are truly two of the most stunning sites you can imagine for a night of drive in cinema.

"Launching from the 4th and 5th August respectively, get ready for an incredible line up of films including everything from Joker, Rocketman, Jojo Rabbit and Knives Out through to classics such as Grease, Back To The Future and Pulp Fiction.

"Screenings at both venues are on sale FROM TODAY!"
