The competition is being run by Catch Seafood, who run popular fish and chip restaurants in Weetwood Lane, Headingley, and Street Lane, Moortown.

To be in with the chance of winning, hungry fans must head to the restaurant's Facebook page.

There they must like and share the post, follow the page and tag a friend in the comments.

The winner will then be announced on Monday, January 11.

Sarah Stuttle, Managing Director at Catch, commented “2020 has been a tough year for everyone, so we wanted to spread a little joy to get this year off to a good start.

"We’ve seen great support from the local area at all our restaurants despite the challenges we’ve faced as an industry due to the pandemic.

"We hope that this goes some way to showing how grateful we are for our loyal customers.”

Catch Seafood has four restaurants in Yorkshire - in West Vale, Holmfirth, Headingley and Street Lane.

Their takeaway service will remain open seven days a week during the third national lockdown.

The restaurant serves traditional fish and chips, as well as weekly specials.

They also have a vegan 'Veganuary' menu available during January with dishes such as Aubergine Boa Buns, Cauliflower nuggets and 'Vish and chips'.
