Much of the activity at present is focused on the western end of the city centre, with the continuing development of Wellington Place and a number of brownfield sites off Whitehall Road. Another major focus is the South Bank area that lies to the south of Leeds City Station, including the Aire Park scheme.
Here we take a look at 10 of the sites where construction is already under way or expected to start soon.
7. Latitude
The Latitude development off Whitehall Road comprises five separate elements, including the No 1 Leeds building that is home to the Yorkshire Evening Post. Now construction work is taking place for the next two phases - Latitude Blue and Latitude Yellow. 8. Lisbon Street

9. Radius

10. Get Living
Developer Get Living is expected to start work shortly on a £177m scheme that will transform a former car park on the corner of Globe Road and Whitehall Road.
