The famous establishing shot of the outside of the bar is of the Bull & Finch Pub located at 84 Beacon Street across from Boston Public Garden, in Massachusetts.

It’s a real pub that serves alcohol and attracts millions of tourists every year, though the interior looks very different to what fans of the show might expect.

There is Cheers memorabilia around the pub and even a gift shop on the premises which has been renamed Cheers Beacon Hill due to its longstanding association with the show.

Despite the show's popularity, Cheers hasn't been rebooted in the same way fans can expect Frasier to return to their screens, but the cast members have met up on several occasions over the years.

In 2020, Danson and his former Cheers cast members held a virtual reunion to reconnect, share memories and tell stories from their working days together, as well as raise money for charity in the Covid pandemic.

The cast has got together for anniversary parties and dinners for notable milestones of the hit show, made special appearances on other programmes like The Simpsons and characters have featured in the Frasier spin-off.
