Ingeus recognised with justice award win at the ATR Awards 2026 in West Yorkshire
Ingeus is celebrating after winning Creating Safety and Trust award at the Adversity, Trauma and Resilience (ATR) Awards 2026, held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on Monday March 23.
The ATR Awards celebrate innovation, leadership and excellence across West Yorkshire, recognising services that are driving trauma‑responsive, person‑centred change. Ingeus had been shortlisted in two categories:

Connection and Belonging – Ingeus Academy
Creating Safety and Trust – Youth Arts
The Ingeus Academy champions the insight and skills of people with lived experience of the criminal justice system. Lived experience peer mentors work alongside advisors to support individuals with wellbeing, dependency and recovery needs and to foster trust, connection and belonging.
Ingeus’ Youth Arts and Young Adult team redesigned its approach to engage young adults more authentically, placing their voice at the heart of decisions. A choice‑led triage session helps young adults explore their goals and understand the support available, with lived experience peer mentors providing relatability and hope.
Katie Guest, Partnership Manager for Ingeus’ Commissioned Rehabilitative Services in Yorkshire and Humberside, said: “Being shortlisted for these awards is a fantastic acknowledgement of the work our teams put into creating safe, inclusive and empowering spaces for the people we support.
"The ATR Awards celebrate exactly what drives our services - compassion, innovation and genuine partnership across our communities.
"We’re incredibly proud of everyone involved in our Ingeus Academy and Young Adult and Arts, and grateful to our partners who help make this impact possible.”
The ATR Awards 2026 showcased organisations working to strengthen resilience and improve support for people experiencing adversity. Ingeus’ award win highlights the positive impact its justice services are having across the region.
