Bradford-based Harry Hall steps up support for riders with expanded legal cover perk
Bradford-based equine insurance broker and heritage retailer, Harry Hall One Club, is strengthening its commitment to make horse ownership more affordable with a new extra member perk.
Developed in response to feedback from real equestrians, the market-first insurance perk will provide cover and legal representation across a number of potential disputes including horse ownership, buying or selling, personal injury claims, disputes over vet bills or treatment responsibility, and property damage.

Findings from Harry Hall’s Horse Census revealed that 36 percent of horse owners resort to less formal methods of insurance, including using loans or credit cards to pay for unexpected costs, revealing the requirement for strengthened insurance options free from exemptions.
Lisa Ripley, Head of Customer Operations at Harry Hall, explains: “If you own, loan, or care for horses, you could face unexpected disputes that lead to costly legal bills. Our new legal expenses cover has been developed in line with customer feedback to give our One Club members peace of mind when dealing with complex situations.
“At Harry Hall, we take pride in offering tailored solutions driven by feedback from real horse owners, and we understand that navigating insurance can be challenging. We’re committed to offering our members insurance cover, legal support and extra perks that genuinely meet the needs of equestrians.”
The legal expenses offering is available as a standard extra perk for all Harry Hall One Club Gold and Platinum members and provides protection of up to £50,000 per claim and up to £500,000 annually.
Additionally, Gold and Platinum members will benefit from access to a 24/7 counselling helpline, providing essential support when it is needed most.
