Multi-million selling rock duo T’Pau announce Leeds tour date and first album in 11 years - date and tickets

For the first time since 2015, the multi-platinum duo T’Pau are back with original material

The voices behind global anthems like 'China In Your Hand' and 'Heart and Soul' are stepping back into the spotlight with the announcement of not only a new album, but a UK tour to coincide with its release.

'Be Wonderful', their first album of original material in 11 years, is described as a project that balances their signature driving guitars and Carol Decker’s unmistakable vocals with a fresh, contemporary edge.

As Carol puts it: “We do everything in-house now, which means we have to be really creative like we were in the early days when we were starting.”

This is evident in the lead single, ‘Read My Lips,’ which Carol describes as a song about “dusting yourself off, standing up and starting again... and keeping your foot on the gas.”

Despite their massive history, the return still feels like a fresh start for the duo: “I'm looking forward to Be Wonderful coming out, but also quite nervous... I’m feeling this mixture of nerves, hope and excitement.

The album is set for release on April 10 on CD and a limited edition signed LP, while ‘Read My Lips’ drops on March 20 - only a few days before their first UK tour date, here in the city.
