It was at the University of Leeds Refectory where music history was made on Valentine's Day, February 14,1970.

The gig was recorded and released as Live at Leeds - their first and only live album released while the group were still actively recording and performing with their best known line-up of frontman Roger Daltrey, guitarist-singer Pete Townshend, bass player John Entwistle and drummer Keith Moon.

A follow up to their 1969 studio album Tommy and featuring signature hit My Generation, it was released in May 1970 and is widely recognised by many critics and fans alike as the greatest live rock band album of all time.

Chart-toppers The Who, who have sold more than 100 million records in a career spanning six decades, are back with their first album in 13 years, called WHO, and an arena tour with Daltrey and Townshend still at the helm, fronting a full orchestra.
