The Great Yorkshire Vegan Festival is coming to Leeds Kirkgate Market this June
Leeds Kirkgate Market will be home to the Great Yorkshire Vegan Festival this summer.
The extravaganza will take place on Sunday, June 20 from 10am to 4pm in Leeds city centre.
Admission is £5, VIP tickets are £15 and under 16s go free to see the best of vegan lifestyle with over 80 stalls, world food caterers and free samples running throughout the day.
The family-friendly event will have global food on offer from the likes of VDogs, Greek Vegan Deli, House of Habesha, There’s No Catch (vegan fish and chips) and Those Vegan Pizza Guys.
VFest UK will be attending which is a new event for 2021 and will provide the ultimate vegan food and camping experience.
This brand new event features headline acts, a club night, circus skills workshops, assault course, zip wire, climbing wall, boating on the lake, yoga, entertainment, fun shows, international speakers, stalls, global food caterers and much more, including TV Chef Matt Pritchard and Guinness World Record Holder Fiona Oakes.
Organisations featuring will include Cats Protection, Four Paws UK, Greenpeace, Plantlife, Ramblers, Viva!, We The Free, Woodland Trust and WWF.
Non-profit UK animal welfare charity Miracle's Mission will also be attending as an organisation that works with sick, injured and difficult animals.
The charity’s mission is to provide a place of safety for animals in danger, to educate on the need for neutering both pets and strays and to neuter stray dogs and cats to prevent the birth of more dogs and cats onto the streets.
There will also be food and drinks available from Bonnie Yau's Food, Dalton Moor Farm, vegan doughnuts from Doughnotts, Ella’s Instant Vegan Yorky Puds and Pancakes, Just Deserts Yarm, KO-CO Brownies, MKS Food, Telltale Tea, The May Bakery, Tyne Chease, and cakes and savouries from Vegan Sweet Tooth London.
On offer as well are skincare, make-up, toiletry, candle and crafts stalls - including Devaiya Oils, Earth's Garden, Lavender and Lilac and Tropic Skincare.
More stalls include Bo's Book, Jewellery Star, Olive and Hope, Vegan recipes and information, and Vegums.
There will also be a chance to purchase the latest vegan fashions from Pet Respect and Trad Collective.
