New Years Eve Top 20 Countdown: MTV Classics across the Decades(Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen, Cross Belgrave St, Leeds LS2 8JP)

The Super Friendz DJs will be playing MTV Classics from across the decades over all three of the Belgrave Music Hall’s floors this New Year’s Eve.

Expect everything from Aaliyah to Outkast, Fatboy Slim to Nirvana and more, as well as photobooths and cheap drinks deals.

Kid's New Year's Eve Party(The Beck & Call, Stainbeck Road, Leeds LS7 2NP)

A special family-friendly New Year's Eve disco, you can expect party games, balloons and lots of dancing fun, suitable for all the family.

Note that all children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

NYE // Simian Mobile Disco (DJ) // 3 Floor Takeover(Headrow House, 19a The Headrow, Leeds LS1 6PU)

Natural Selection are taking over for New Year's Eve with a special DJ set from electronica duo, Simian Mobile Disco.

This one’s free entry, but you will still need to redeem a free ticket on DICE, and tickets do not guarantee entry, so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

NYE Rocks(The Key Club, 66 Merrion St, Leeds LS2 8LW)

For something a bit more alternative, head down to Leeds’ premier rock club for a night of ska, punk, hip-hop and more from the Slam Dunk DJs.

One of the venue's three rooms will also be dishing out guilty pleasures, promised to be “a decade spanning journey through pop” by the organisers.

New Years Eve at The Wardrobe(The Wardrobe, St. Peter’s Square, Leeds LS9 8AG)

This year, The Wardrobe’s NYE event features world-class comedy from Justin Moorhouse, Big Lou, Jack Gleadow, and Dave Twentyman, as well as a bespoke restaurant menu, live music, and celebrations in the bar area.

There’s even the option to book dinner and comedy, or simply access the bar for free.

New Years Eve 2019 - The Future is 2020(O2 Academy, 55 Cookridge St, Leeds LS2 3AW)

Sold out five years in a row, tickets are mercifully still available (at the time of writing) for Projekt’s annual blowout, which promises to “raise the bar once again.”
