Film and Food Fest 2021 set for Leeds debut at Roundhay Park this summer - here's how to get tickets
A touring film and food festival is set to make its debut in Leeds at Roundhay Park this summer with a four-day extravaganza.
The Adventure Cinema festival will be stopping in Leeds this summer during its 15-city UK tour.
Arriving on September 2 and finishing on September 5, it will feature a short film night, an outdoor cinema with films for all audiences, live comedy, street food and cocktails.
Thursday evening's events will be a showcase of movies from local independent filmmakers - with tickets costing £6.00 each, and £2.00 of each ticket used to support Leeds film organisations.
The outdoor cinema will be showing films all weekend, and will include family favourites The Greatest Showman and The Lion King, cult classics like The Rocky Horror Picture Show and modern blockbusters such as Joker and Invisible Man.
Tickets for the outdoor movies start from £16.50 and children aged 12 years old and under will be able to get half price tickets for afternoon showings.
Live comedy will be available on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, and street food and cocktails will be on offer all weekend.
Guests can expect everything from gourmet burgers and bruschetta to crepes and caramel ice cream.
Gates will open three hours before each film starts, and the festival will comply with government guidelines with coronavirus safety measures in place.
More information and tickets can be found here, and ticket holders are being offered a 100 per cent money-back guarantee should the event not be able to go ahead.
The UK tour launches on June 17 and is also visiting Cardiff, Newcastle, Leicester, Swansea, Nottingham, London (North & South), Huddersfield, Bristol, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Wolverhampton, Northampton and Manchester.
