Our vibrant city has much to keep its residents busy with – from street food that will take your taste buds around the globe to serene parks to spend time with family. Here are eight things that we love about Leeds and why we won’t be moving any time soon.
7. Hyde Park Picture House
Opened in 1914, the Hyde Park Picture House has stood the test of time. It shows independent, documentary and classic films while supporting local filmmakers and the community. It's set to reopen in April after a multi-million pound refurbishment. Photo: Tony Johnson
8. Street art
In 2017, Leeds was described as "the UK's street art capital". Pictured is the Leeds United FA Cup Mural painted on a wall near Elland Road in Beeston. Other impressive artworks Leeds is known for include Cornucopia painted near the Corn Exchange and Athena Rising near the train station. Photo: James Hardisty
