Dog friendly Wapentake Leeds bar opens April bookings for Yorkshire beer and gin and tonics
What better than to have a drink in the sun with your friends and pooches?
Wapentake Leeds has announced it will reopen from April 14 - bringing a taste of Yorkshire with it.
Its 'cosy' outdoor space will be available for up to six people per table, and the team 'love dogs' so four-legged friends are welcome too.
The bar will have fruity gin and tonics on offer along with some exotic Yorkshire beer including a mint choc chip ice cream flavour.
In April, the venue will be closed on Monday and Tuesdays, open from 12.00pm to 8.00pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and 12.00pm to 10.00pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
The team are taking bookings via Instagram direct message.
The bar usually functions as a brunch café by day and a craft beer bar by night.
It announced the exciting news in a social media post which said: "**ATTENTION**
"From 14th April, we’ll finally be opening our doors to you lovely people (outside only until stage 3 restrictions).
"If you want to secure a spot, drinking the local beers or sipping on fruity G&T’s in our cosy little outdoor space, slide into our DMs to book a table
(up to 6 people).
"Opening times : Mon - Closed; Tues - Closed; Weds - 12-8; Thurs - 12-8; Fri - 12-10; Sat -12-10; Sun -12-8
"(Opening hours will be longer once we are able to open inside in May)."
Under the Government's lockdown roadmap, hospitality venues are going to be allowed to open outdoors only from April 12 - subject to review.
People will be allowed to mix outdoors for a drink or bite to eat in groups of six or a mixture of two households.
It is only from May 17, again subject to review, that people will be allowed to mix indoors.
