On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, youngsters will be able to learn how to safely strike a fire and tie knots in the ‘two knot challenge’, or join the Harrogate and Nidderdale District Scouts and have a go at pitching a tent or develop their pioneering, signalling and tree identification skills.
There’s also the chance to learn how to make a catapult, and on Tuesday, May 31, families can join the Garden Detectives for storytelling sessions.
