SOMETIMES when friends come to visit, you want to show them something a bit special. Let Angelica tick that box. And then some... The rooftop venue oozes elegance, with floor-to-ceiling windows, an outdoor terrace and a spacious bar and dining area. Service is second to none. There is a great range of ‘all day brunch’ dishes, such as a Full English, Croque Madame, waffles and eggs Benedict – all reasonably priced from £8 to £12. There is also a handful of starters such as tempura soft shell crab, lobster mac and cheese and ham hock terrine. Main meals include Yorkshire lamb cutlets, fish and chips, steak frites, squash and sage ravioli and braised pork belly – priced around £13 each. What more could you ask for?
