There is plenty to get you into the festive spirit this holiday season, including things for the entire family.
Whether you want to take the little ones for their first visit to Santa, race your teenagers on the Millennium Square Ice Rink or meet up with friends for a Christmas cocktail, you can find all bases covered in Leeds this year.
Here are some of the best thing you can do/see/shop and visit this Christmas in Leeds:

7. Tipi Christmas on Briggate
And there's another place to enjoy a Christmas Tipi this year. Another Tipi bar will be located on the pedestrianised Briggate. There will be a bar available for hot apple punch and hot chocolates and it is a 'bring your own food' policy meaning families can eat whatever they fancy inside.

8. Wheel of Light
Wheel of Light Located in Victoria Gardens, just off the Headrow, is the Wheel of Light. The 110ft wheel will offer the best views from across the city. A small number of festive street food vendors and children's themed rides will be in the area. 9. Christmas theatre
Of course, it wouldn't be Christmas without mentioning a festive show or too! There are plenty of options to choose from this year in Leeds. A operatic production of Amahl and the Night Visitors will be held at Morley Town Hall on December 5. City Varieties are hosting a rock and roll panto version of Beauty and the Beast until January 9. Carriageworks are putting on a family-friendly and fun production of Aladdin while Leeds Grand Theatre will be hosting a fantastic production of Disney's Bedknobs and Broomsticks until Jan 2. 10. Corn Exchange Christmas
Another festive market is being hold every week in the run up to Christmas in the Corn Exchange. The Christmas Market, which has been organised by Rolling Social Events, has a rotating line-up of food and drinks stalls, masterclasses, bars and games. The space will seat around 200 people, with two experience spaces, a main bar area, food traders, foodie Christmas stalls plus shops within the exchange. Music will come in the shape of a range of local DJs - with Released Records and DJ Owen, John Hope and Greggo spinning the tunes. Leeds Conservatoire will be providing some of their bands too, which will be announced in the forthcoming weeks. The main bar will have a festive range of cocktails and warming winter specials and will operate from 12pm till 10pm on the Thursday to Sunday each week. Photo taken by Carl Milner.

11. Harewood House
Harewood House is known for its fantastic festive displays - and this year is no different. The Upon a Christmas Wish installation has been created by Lord Whitney, an immersive artist-led studio based in Leeds. According to the creators, Upon a Christmas wish is all about the idea that escapism can act as a tool for healing and connecting back to our own imaginations. Walk through the beautiful, festive starlit rooms and relive the story of the magical Christmas night. Timed ticket slots need to be booked in advance. 12. Reindeer Trail at Kirkstall Abbey
Visitors to Kirkstall Abbey should be on the lookout for reindeer dotted around the ruins in a special Christmas trail. Decorated in different costumes and patterns, those taking in the free trail can take a photo of each one. Photo: Carl Milner
