Irish pop-rock icons The Script have unveiled a massive global tour hitting Leeds this autumn alongside details of their highly anticipated new album
Irish pop-rock powerhouses The Script have announced a monumental global run of dates for their upcoming 'Man In The Arena Tour', including a huge night in West Yorkshire.
The band will kick off the tour with two homecoming nights at Dublin's 3Arena in October before storming arenas across the UK and Europe throughout November.
The global tour will extend well into spring 2027, taking the band to major arenas in Manila, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, and Jakarta.
The news drops alongside the announcement of their brand new album, ‘The User’s Guide To Being Human’, which is set for release on August 14.
The follow-up to 2024's ‘Satellites’ was recorded in Topanga Canyon, Los Angeles, with frontman Danny O’Donoghue teaming up with long-time collaborators Andrew Frampton, Steve Kipner, and Jimbo Barry.
Speaking about the reason behind the album title, Danny explained: “The title is what this album is about. If you need something to remind you of the spectrum of feelings and emotions that make you feel human, this is it.“
Fans have already been treated to a taste of the new record with the release of the title single, ‘Man In The Arena’.
The track - an arena-sized earworm complete with a massive singalong chorus- was heavily inspired by a famous speech by former US President Theodore Roosevelt.
Before embarking on their headline arena run, the group will be spending the summer supporting Take That at major UK stadiums, as well as opening for country superstar Luke Combs at Ireland's historic Slane Castle.
