Stunning festive pictures as Lotherton Hall prepares for Christmas

A stately home in Leeds has been transformed into a magical Christmas winter wonderland.

Lotherton Hall has two very special visitors in the build up to the festive season with Father Christmas and Mrs Claus greeting guests.

A number of magical installations have been installed in the grounds including a twinkling light up woodland walk.

The Edwardian Hall and its rooms have been dressed up in all their festive finery and there is a magical secret hideaway Fairy Dell for little guests to visit.

The Elf Village also promises enchanted weekend and school holiday magic shows with the chance to toast marshmallows and get crafty.

The Yorkshire Evening Post went behind the scenes to capture some of the festive magic at the home in east Leeds.
