Global pop sensation Ed Sheeran recently announced he is to play two outdoor concerts in Leeds next year, performing at Roundhay Park in August 2019.
The shows will form part of the British singer's worldwide tour in support of his third studio album ÷ (Divide), which spawned the hit singles Shape of You, Galway Girl and Perfect.
The August dates will mark the first time a big name artist has played a stand-alone gig at Roundhay Park in 13 years, with Robbie Williams being the last singer to perform at the 70,000 capacity venue in 2006.
Tickets for the two concerts went on sale at the end of September, and while fans were quick to snap them up, there are still some up for grabs.
When is Ed Sheeran performing in Leeds?
Ed Sheeran will perform two shows at Roundhay Park in Leeds on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 August 2019.
Is it sold out?
The show on Saturday 17 August is sold out, but tickets are still currently available for Friday 16 August.
Can I buy tickets as a gift?
If you are purchasing tickets as a gift, the lead booker (the person whose surname is on the booking confirmation) must escort recipients to the gate for them to gain entry into the venue.
The lead booker must present a photo ID matching the payment card they used, along with a booking confirmation email.
Where can I buy tickets?
All tickets for the outdoor shows next year will be paperless, in an effort to combat ticket touts and inflated resales.
Gig-goers will only be admitted entry into the concert venue by showing the credit or debit card they used to pay for the tickets, along with the email booking confirmation and a photo ID (driving license or passport) that matches the name on the payment card.
Tickets are only available to purchase from the following authorised vendors:
- See Tickets
- Alt Tickets (for customers with a disability)
- Event Travel
- Luna Tickets
Where can I buy fan resale tickets?
Tickets can also be purchased on Ed Sheeran's fan-to-fan ticket resale platform, Twickets, where the prices are never more than the original face value.
The site was set up to try and counter ticket touting.
Tickets listed on the website will be issued to the seller from the original ticket retailer approximately two weeks before the event. Seller will then deliver these tickets once they are received.
During the booking process, fans must provide the name of the lead attendee.
This person must take along a photo ID and a purchase confirmation email from Twickets to gain entry into the venue.
How much do tickets cost?
General admission tickets are priced at £75 per person, plus a maximum 10 per cent booking fee.
Tickets will also be subject to a maximum £3 transaction charge per order.
How many tickets can I buy?
There is a strict limit of four tickets per person.
All ticket holders must arrive at the same time as the credit or debit card holder to be permitted entry into the venue.
