Plan a fantastic fun-filled and educational, family day out with the rural community of Malhamdale with the return of the annual village show on Saturday, August 24.
From sheep and cattle, horses and dog agility to music and vintage cars and tractors - there is plenty to keep the entire family entertained after the gates open at 9am.
Admire the sheep and cattle as they are judged, culminating in the sheep championship judging and parade of cattle - showcasing the pride in, and quality of, the livestock in the local area.

Sit back and watch the horses in action in the working hunter, ridden, in-hand and show jumping rings.
Enjoy our showcase of traditional Dales skills, including dry stone walling, local crafts and artisan produce
Get a helping hand for your Dog Training requirements. Watch the K9 dog agility and even participate in one of the ‘Have a Go’ sessions.
See the magnificent Thwaites Brewery Dray horses, Wainwright and Bomber, as they make an entrance and parade around the show field.
Capture your children’s imagination in the Children’s Zone with entertainment and activities.
Experience a variety of foods and crafts from artisans from around the Dales

Relax to the soothing Yorkshire sound of the Haworth Brass band or tap your toe to live music from talented local musicians.
This is truly a charitable community event which supports agriculture, sport and education throughout the dale. Organisers hope visitors will join for what’s set to be a great day and worthy cause.
