Iconic indie-pop outfit Lightning Seeds have announced a major UK Greatest Hits tour for winter 2027, bringing a career-spanning celebration of anthem hits to Leeds
Following their hugely successful sold-out run in 2024, Liverpool indie-pop legends Lightning Seeds have officially announced a extensive UK tour celebrating more than three decades of timeless pop classics.
Formed by singer and producer Ian Broudie, the band have sold more than eight million albums worldwide, carving out an indelible place in British music history.
The newly announced winter tour will showcase their formidable back catalogue of chart-topping anthems, including timeless staples like 'Pure', 'The Life Of Riley', 'Change', 'Lucky You', 'Sense', 'Sugar Coated Iceberg', and 'You Showed Me'.
The milestone tour follows their 35th-anniversary celebrations, which included the release of their 20-track career retrospective, Tomorrow’s Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds, headline sets at major outdoor festivals, and support for Paul Heaton on his arena tour.
Speaking on the nationwide tour announcement, Ian Broudie said: “We're delighted to announce our 2027 Greatest Hits Tour. We really can't wait to see everyone on our headline tour next winter for what is going to be a very special collection of gigs!”
Yorkshire fans will have several opportunities to catch the iconic group across the region, with the tour kicking off in Holmfirth and visiting Sheffield and Hull alongside a major headliner in Leeds.
