Brewers are rolling out the barrels for the 14th annual Leeds International Beer Festival at Kirkstall Abbey this weekend.
Held across four days, the popular event showcases beers from Leeds and beyond.
The festival kicked off yesterday evening (Thursday) and runs until Sunday (September 6), taking over the church, courtyard and cloister at the historic monastic ruins.
This year’s festival features a stacked line-up of British and international beers across six sessions.
Enjoy these 19 photos from day one of the festival, captured by Yorkshire Evening Post photographer Steve Riding.
Tickets for the remaining sessions are available here.
