Home for midnight': Leeds’ biggest 90s & 00s daytime rave returns to Project House for 4th birthday

Leeds’ hit over-30s daytime clubbing brand Club Classics is marking four years of sell-out shows with an eight-hour party at Project House featuring 90s house royalty and live vocal performances

For clubbers who love hands-in-the-air 90s house anthems but prefer to be tucked up in bed by midnight, Leeds’ biggest daytime clubbing event is returning for a major milestone next month.

Club Classics will take over the indoor and outdoor spaces at Project House on Armley Road on November 28, celebrating four years of sell-out parties across the city.

Running from 3pm to 11pm, the eight-hour nostalgic marathon brings together 1,000 clubbers for an afternoon of 90s and 00s dance classics, street food, and festival vibes - all timed perfectly so guests can catch the bus or a taxi home and wake up fresh for Sunday.

Heading up the soundtrack for the 4th birthday bash are two true 90s DJ heavyweights: Allister Whitehead and Jon Pleased Wimmin.

Joining them on the main stage is none other than Rowetta, the legendary voice of the Happy Mondays and Hacienda Classical, delivering a live vocal performance.

The line-up is completed by regional favourites Marc Leaf, promoter Gavin Lampitt, Mitch, and Bongo Dave, providing live percussion.

Speaking ahead of the birthday celebration, event promoter Gavin Lampitt said: “Project House is the perfect event space to host our parties with both indoor and outdoor areas. What more can you ask for than partying and reliving your youth with like-minded people of a similar age who are not quite ready to hang up their dancing shoes in a safe, hassle-free environment?

“Starting at 3pm and running till 11pm means everybody can get home and be tucked up in bed for midnight, feeling fresh for whatever Sunday brings, and you can even satisfy your appetite throughout the day with the tasty food available from on-site food vendors.”

Grab final release tickets for the over-30s Club Classics 4th birthday party on Skiddle before it sells out, and head down to Project House on Armley Road on November 28 from 3pm to 11pm.
