YEP Says: Why rain won't ruin Leeds Festival

AFTER ALL their hard work with GCSE and A-levels recently, our youngsters have reasons to let their hair down.

So, what better way to do it than to go to the Leeds Festival? It’s a shame the weather isn’t being kinder with yesterday’s downpour making conditions underfoot interesting to say the least.

This event is one of Leeds’s – and Yorkshire’s – big success stories. Festivals come and go but the Leeds Festival seems to get better and better.

Grey skies and pouring rain won’t stop our young people from having a fine time. We just hope they haven’t forgotten their wellies.
