The Father Christmas Experience, on dates to Saturday, December 23, includes a blend of activities, crafts, and heartwarming moments while exploring diverse global Christmas traditions.

As part of the immersive adventure, visitors embark on a captivating activity trail throughout the museum, where they'll uncover clues and enjoy some delightful winter crafting.

Festive fun continues with the chance to pose on the venue’s very own Thackray sleigh for memorable photographs to capture the joy of the season.

Santa will regale young and old alike with cosy festive stories. Each child will receive a thoughtfully selected gift to take home as a cherished keepsake of this unforgettable encounter.

The audience with Father Christmas is the highlight of the experience and scheduled to take place one hour after entry times, allowing ample opportunity to explore and enjoy the museum's captivating exhibits beforehand, including the critically acclaimed On The Bench Exhibition, about Sports Injury.
