Orbital, Peggy Gou and Craig Richards announced as first acts for Leeds' inner city electronic festival

A multi-venue electronic music festival and conference will be returning to Leeds next year with its most ambitious line-up to date.

inner city electronic will offer a citywide celebration of electronic music and culture on Saturday, March 7. Taking place across a selection of Leeds venues and locations, the 24-hour event will play host to some of electronic music’s biggest talents alongside a diverse programme of emerging artists and local residents.

The first names announced include Peggy Gou, Orbital, Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston’s (A Love From Outer Space), Craig Richards, Nicolas Lutz, HAAi and Mr Scruff.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2020 edition, which will take place at venues such as Leeds University, Leeds College of Music and The Corn Exchange as well as independent venues including Wire, Hifi, Distrikt, Sheaf St. and The Warehouse.

The festival will also feature a comprehensive daytime programme of conference activity, focused on musical development, music industry, culture and technology. Previous conference guests have included the likes of KiNK, Kelly Lee Owens, Octave One, Craig Richards, Paul Woolford and Midland.
