Acclaimed Franco-British Rock 'n' Roll group Dead Chic to play Leeds this summer

With their 2024 debut album, ‘Serenades & Damnation’, Dead Chic delivered a record that was dense, visceral, and instantly distinctive. From the very first notes, the atmosphere was unmistakable: cinematic crescendos, vast open landscapes, sultry tension, grit, and refined elegance. Unmistakably dark and chic.

The newly released Deluxe Edition of the album now extends this immersive and intense journey, offering a compelling second chapter to the album.

It brings to light previously unreleased tracks recorded during the original sessions at Black Box Studio; ‘Fire’, ‘The Bells and the Fists’, and ‘It Takes a Long Road’. Some of these songs were honed on stage over time, others emerged more recently, but together they reveal a sometimes rawer, denser edge of the band’s sound, always infused with the cinematic scope that defines DEAD CHIC’s signature identity.

This expanded edition also features three reimagined versions drawn from a stripped-back, almost acoustic live session — ‘Pain Love Joy’, ‘Hedonista’, and ‘Paris’. Performed in an intimate setting with subdued lighting and a live audience, the band revisits its repertoire through a more minimalist and introspective lens.

The session captures the immediacy of live performance, the delicate balance between restraint and abandon, and the unmistakable adrenaline of performing without a safety net.

With ‘Serenades & Damnation – Deluxe Edition’, Dead Chic does more than add new material. The band deepens its narrative, explores the edges of its sound, and reaffirms a coherent, uncompromising artistic vision ; free, embodied, and fully realized.

Next the band are set to showcase the album and support the deluxe edition release with their UK tour which includes dates across the country. For tickets and info visit : https://linktr.ee/deadchic
