Ghosts, ghouls, and ultra-marathoners took over the towpaths of Kirkstall today as Its Grim Up North Running hosted its annual Halloween 'Hubble Bubble' and 'Ghostly 1 Mile' races.
Taking place along the scenic Leeds and Liverpool Canal off Wyther Lane, hundreds of runners of all ages donned their best fancy dress to tackle distances ranging from a family-friendly 1-mile fun run right up to a gruelling ultra-marathon.
