Four of Yorkshire’s brightest young boxing prospects are set to make their mark on the national stage this November, as they compete in the Global Glove Box Cup Competition in Bolton.

Leading the charge is Vinnie Broadhead, 19, who has already built an impressive reputation in the ring. With two Yorkshire belts, the Manchester Belts Cup, and the Yorkshire title at the Nationals to his name, Vinnie enters the tournament as one of the region’s most decorated young fighters. His mix of power, precision, and composure has made him a standout contender to watch.

Joining him is Michael Cawley, 17, a rising star and Yorkshire belt holder who has shown tremendous promise and discipline at a young age. Cawley’s sharp technique and relentless work ethic have quickly earned him respect within the amateur boxing scene.

Frazer Broadhead, 18, is another top prospect carrying Yorkshire’s flag. With three Yorkshire titles, having been crowned Yorkshire Champion twice and the Hull Box Club Champion, Frazer has demonstrated consistent dominance across multiple competitions. His blend of aggression and tactical awareness will make him a serious threat in Bolton.

For these Yorkshire boxers, it’s not only a chance to add to their growing list of accolades but also to test themselves against elite-level opponents on a bigger stage.

With a mix of experience, talent, and ambition, the Yorkshire squad looks set to deliver an exciting performance — and possibly bring more silverware home.
