The visitors got the job done in the first half, easing into a 26-0 lead, before the points were shared after the break.

Will Cooke opened the scoring after just five minutes and Tom Ashton doubled the lead soon afterwards, both tries being unconverted.

Hunslet’s defence had to muscle up to prevent Jamie Murphy getting the ball down over the line and Sion Jones was held up at the other end before Dom Brambani’s pass sent captain Duane Straugheir in for the third score.

Straugheir doubled up soon afterwards and Jordan Andrade added a fifth try for the visitors, Bramabni converting that and both the skipper’s touchdowns.

Andrade went over again 10 minutes into the second half, Brambani adding the extras, but Hunslet’s hopes of a whitewash were dashed when Phil Cowburn scored just before the hour.

Lewis Young scored the Parksiders’ seventh and final try, off good play by Vila Halafihi on his return from a knee injury and Brambani converted to complete Hunslet’s scoring.

Charley Bodman scored a late consolation for Raiders, with Will Ramsey booting his second conversion.

This latest win for a Hunslet side that looks to have finally found its promotion-chasing feet in the division, consolidated the Parksiders’ fourth place in the standings - a position that could not be altered by the outcome of Sunday’s fixtures.
