Walker had hoped to be available for Rhinos' Betfred Super League meeting with Salford Red Devils on Saturday, but has not been named in coach Richard Agar's initial 21-man squad.

The full-back has been sidelined since suffering a fractured foot against Warrington Wolves in February, but is now back in full training.

Agar has made only one change to the squad selected for Rhinos' previous game against Wigan Warriors two weeks ago, with Richie Myler returning from injury in place of Cameron Smith.

Smith sustained a fractured jaw in training this week and is expected to be out of action for six weeks.

Rob Lui is in contention to face his former club and Ava Seumanufagai, Rhys Evans and Alex Sutcliffe are also vying for a return to the 17.

Rhinos' initial 21-man squad is: Tom Briscoe, Harry Newman, Konrad Hurrell, Ash Handley, Rob Lui, Luke Gale, Ava Seumanufagai, Kruise Leeming, Matt Prior, Rhyse Martin, Brad Dwyer, Liam Sutcliffe, Richie Myler, Adam Cuthbertson, Mikolaj Oledzki, Bodene Thompson, Rhys Evans, Callum McLelland, Luke Briscoe, Alex Sutcliffe, Tom Holroyd.
