Toulouse Olympique v Leeds Rhinos kick-off put back due to heatwave in south of France

Leeds Rhinos' game in Toulouse on Saturday will kick off two hours later than originally scheduled because of a heatwave in the south of France.

The match was set to begin at 6pm local time, when the temperature is forecast to be 39 degrees Celsius, which is 102 degrees Fahrenheit.

The will now start off at 8pm, when the forecast is for an only slightly milder 36 degrees Celsius (96.8 Fahrenheit).

The temperature in Toulouse at 10pm on Saturday, when the game will finish, is expected to be around 32 degrees C (89.6 F).

The delay was agreed this afternoon following discussions between the clubs and RFL.
