Superstar Roger Tuivasa-Sheck confirms Wakefield Trinity move with 'try to win a comp' pledge
NRL legend Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has confirmed his move to Wakefield Trinity.
The dual-code international posted a video online revealing he will join Trinity next season on a two-year deal. Wakefield coach Daryl Powell declined to comment yesterday during his press conference to preview this evening’s (Friday) game at York Knights, but admitted the 32-year-old superstar is an “unbelievable player” and would “ have a big impact in this comp”.
Tuivasa-Sheck has 235 NRL games under his belt for Sydney Roosters and New Zealand Warriors. He also boasts 20 New Zealand caps and five for Samoa, as well as three appearances as an All Black during a two-year stint in rugby union.

In his video, Tuivasa-Sheck - who can play full-back, centre or wing - said: “That’s it, done. I just signed a two-year deal with Wakefield Trinity in the Super League. Take my services north, take the family with me, have an adventure, try to win a comp and have a lot of fun man. Let’s see how we go.”
